Hello loves! So remember last week I told you guys that I cleaned out my closet, well here's another gem that I found. This one shoulder top from Old Navy is at least 7 years old. It's super cute and still fits! The best part is that it's trendy again. When I first bought this stop the one shoulder trend was gaining lots of momentum. I absolutely loved how simple and comfortable this top was, so I bought it. I've actually worn it on and off for the past few years, but now it's back on trend. I love when I keep items in my closet that I love without any regards to when they will be trendy again. Then when they do come full circle it's the best feeling. Anyways, since this top is rather old, I've linked a bunch of cute similar tops below so you dolls can get this look. Talk to you later!

Hello loves. Today I have a new post for you featuring some not so new threads. This blue dress is one of the few sporty pieces I own. Most pieces I own are a mix of feminine, bohemian, and classic with a few staple pieces. If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have caught a small glimpse of me cleaning out my closet this past week. I mean I did a deep cleaning. I pulled everything out, dusted, vacuumed, and even caught the baseboards. I was so amazed at how much dust had collected in the crevices between the carpet and wall. I swear I'm not a huge fan of wall to wall carpeting, but this is a rental.  Anyhow, after I was done, my closet sure looked better. I think I'll do a separate post on my closet clean-out and organization tips, that way I can go over my entire process.

So while, I was doing that I found this piece in there. I hadn't worn it in over a year, but I remember I loved it so much. The reason I hadn't worn it in a year was that I had gained some weight. Last summer I wanted to wear this dress, but I put it on and saw that it was very ill fitting. I wasn't ready to part with it so I stuck it back in my closet. I was at my highest weight then, which was 150 lbs. This coming form a girl who normally weighed 136. So I had gained 14 lbs from my normal. I'm currently down to 141, since last summer. So I thought "why not try it on see if you still love it." I tried it and of course I loved it. It's such an easy piece and super comfortable. I swear I can always count on Old Navy for pieces like this. The best part part about this piece is that it can also be dressed up. Anyways, since this dress is an older piece, I linked some similar pieces below, although it was really hard to find similar pieces in this particular color.  I hope you all have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by.

The Beginning of Spring

Dress: Old Navy // Jacket: old, similar // Shoes: Forever 21 (old, similar) // Earrings: Rite Aid, similar // Bracelet: old, similar // Bag: Forever 21 (sold out, similar

Hello, loves. I've literally been trying to get back into the swing of things with this blog of mine, but I'm just not feeling motivated to do it. I've been exhausted from work and when I get home I don't wanna spend more time working. It's so much easier to post my #OOTDs on Instagram, but I have to remember why I started this blog. I started to stay connected to fashion, to pursue my dreams, to express my point of view. So here's to hoping I stick to it.

On a different note, Spring is finally here and the weather has been amazing. It's dress season and I plan to take full advantage of it, starting with this piece. I swear anytime I roll into Old Navy, I find some of the most awesome pieces on sale. This dress is an Autumn piece but, the blue and white screams Spring. Especially the floral pattern. Although florals aren't some amazing thing, they are a classic. We should always stick to the classics, because no matter how the trends change, many pieces you own should remain timeless. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello dolls! So I'm back after a long break. Ive been more active on Sapchat and a little on Instagram, but not as much as I use to. I really just think that social media has become less important to me. I just don't feel the need to check it as often or post to it as much. So, sorry if you've been missing me there.

On another note, I want to catch you up from my last post on my work situation. I successfully transferred to another store from my old store. My new location is on the opposite side of the city, so the commute to work is longer, but its not horrible. I love the new team. I've been working hard on helping them catch up with major projects (especially merchandising). Honestly, today was the slowest day I've had since my first day two weeks ago. Anyhow I hope you all have been doing well and enjoying your summers so far! Talk to you later and thanks for stopping by.
